UNIQSO HAUL - GEO MEDICAL/SWEETY/DOLLY EYE ♥

Konnichiwa Minna-san! Today I have a long awaited haul from UNIQSO. I've had these four lenses in my wishlist for about 4 months now, so the second I heard Uniqso was doing a Black Friday sale of 50% off, I literally jumped at the chance and bought them

Dolly Eye Ace Black

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 1 Tone
Diameter: 14.5mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 38%

I absolutely adore these ♥ I've always wanted to have black lenses that we not totally creepy, so these were my first choice since I can still see a little of my eye colour . They're very comfortable and a lot smaller in diameter compared to my other 16.2mm lenses, I think these could be worn easily for 8 hours without much hassle.

GEO Medical Cafe Mimi Macchiato

Base Curve: 8.8mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 14.8mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 38%

I've previously bought from GEO Medical and they never disappoint, this is now my second pair from the brand and they are beautiful. These ones are a lot more natural than the GEO Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown lenses that I have, mostly because they have a more subtle black outline around the outside of the lenses. They're really comfortable like all of the GEO lenses so I would definitely recommend these for people who have more sensitive eyes.

Sweety Crazy Star

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 14.0mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 40%

These... Are... Amazing... I am so pleased with these and now I think they're my favourite pair. These lenses aren't the most comfortable, i'm not entirely sure but I think they are thicker than any of my other lenses but still bearable to wear for a few hours. The lenses have blue stars in the center with a brown outer rim, and it gives your eyes a truly unusual look. though I think these would be best appreciated in photo shoots.

Kimchi Viva Violet

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 16.0mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 55%

I've always wanted a pair of Kimchi lenses since they have a large diameter, the issue was picking the colour since they have so many ♥ Despite being very large, these lenses are actually as  comfortable as GEO medical lenses, the colour is also very vivid and fades nicely into my own eye colour. I would definitely buy more from this brand again, I just love how you can barely feel them in your eyes.

Dolly Ace Black - £11.15
Geo Medical Cafe Mimi Macchiato - £14.88
Sweety Crazy Star - £11.07
Kimchi Viva Violet - £14.26

Thank you very much for reading my review and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Cosplay Post: Hermione Granger Transformation!

Konnichiwa Minna ♥ I've been away for a while due to an illness, so I thought I would come back with a magical bang!  This is my transformation into Hermione Granger, I wanted to try a really simple cosplay and so Halloween was the perfect opportunity.

Firstly I styled my own hair, since it's basically the same general colour/style of Hermione's I thought I would just keep it natural instead of using a wig.

Now onto the face make up, I used a moisturizer first to make my skin a lot more hydrated and then proceeded with my new Illamasqua Satin Face Primer. I then used my Lancome concealer for my under eyes, and any other red spots or imperfections on my face.

Next is my bb cream, since I have discovered Korean bb creams no Western foundation/bb cream can top them. So I used my Skin79 Diamond Prestige BB Cream all over my face, and then blended it in with a beauty blender. At this point I would say to add a powder if you have oily/combination skin, but since my skin is super dry I usually miss that part out.

To finish the look I added my Estee Lauder blush and used a really shimmer white/beige from my Naked Basics Palette as a highlight to all the high points on my face.

For the eyes I started with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as the base and added a light beige shadow all over the lid, over this shadow I added a champagne shimmery colour to make my eyes seem brighter. For the crease I added a soft chocolate brown to give my eyes more dimension and I the added my brown liquid liner and lengthening mascara. I think it makes everything look more natural if you stick to brown tones for your liquid liner.

After adding mascara I picked up the same white/beige for my highlight and I added it to my inner corners. I then finished my eye look by adding my circle lenses from GEO Medical, I already have hazel eyes but I really wanted a doe-eyed look for Hermione, since her eyes are so bright and bold.

The costume was super simple and inexpensive, The robe and tie were bought from eBay, the shirt is from my Haruka Nanami cosplay, the skirt is from Yesstyle, the shoes and socks are from Primark. Without including all of the parts that I already had (make-up, shoes, socks, shirt etc), the costume as a whole was £17.

Face

Primark Moisturizer- £1.00
Illamasqua Satin Face Primer - £26.00
Lancome Effracernes Concealer - £22.00
Skin79 Diamond Prestige BB Cream - £15.00
Estee Lauder Pink Tease Blush - £24.00

Eyes

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - £16.00
Naked Basics Palette - £22.00
Urban Decay Fun Palette (Champagne shadow) - £22.00
Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (Brown) - £8.00
Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara - £4.00
GEO Medical Cafe Mimi Circle Lenses - £14.00

Costume

Gryffindor Robe - £14.00
Gryffindor Tie - £3.00

Thank you very much for reading my transformation and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Gothic Lolita Make Up Look Transformation! ♥

Konbanwa Minna-san! Today is a really short blog post about Gothic Lolita Make-up and I hope you all enjoy it, I really stepped out of my comfort zone for this look since i'm not very good with dark make-up looks. All links to the products I used will be below

I finally put my Lolita wig to proper use. I bought this from Ebay and posted a review a while ago since I was so pleased. The blouse is from Yesstyle, I bought this around a year and a half ago so i'm unsure if it's still in stock. I'll find one similar and put the link below if anyone is interested. My Circle lenses are from a dear friend of mine Pastel Dreams Shoes and Accessories and they are Naty Swan - Pink ♥

For my eye make-up I done a basic smokey eye with a red-ish burgundy shade and a deep black to give more depth and edgy to my make-up, using the Like Angels palette from Make-Up Revolution & Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette. I layered a brighter metallic red on top of the burgundy to really make the lid colour pop. The eyeliner I used is Urban Decay's Ink for Eyes and it has been very winged out to create a dramatic cat eye, i've also formed a point in the inner corner to bring the whole look together. After this I lined my water line with a black eyeliner from MUA, added mascara from Rimmel and my accent lashes with beading from Bourjois

For my face make-up I used Skin 79 Diamond Prestige BB Cream with L'Oreal's Studio Secrets Primer beneath it for a smooth finish. Since the make-up was pretty heavy under my eye I decided against concealer. My highlight is from MUA and it's the shade Gold and my blush is from Estee Lauder in Pink Ingenue

Finally my lip colour is Black Metal Dahlia from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, the inner corners have been shaded in with my MUA black eyeliner to give them more definition

Thank you very much for reading my tutorial and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Pastel Dreams Shoes & Accessories Haul & Review #2 - Giselle & Naty Swan Circle Lenses!

Konnichiwa Minna-san!
UPDATE! You can now find all the products from Pastel Dreams at the new website!
Today I have a second Pastel Dreams Haul!! This was one of my most viewed posts, so here is No.2

My haul today will consist of two different circle lenses! One which I bought myself and the other was a lovely gift from my friend Sofia, the amazing girl behind the brand

Both of the lenses came in different types of packaging which was kind of a new one for me, as i'm pretty used to using the vials.

Overall I still prefer the vials over the foil leaflet type packaging, even though the vials are a little fiddly to work with I feel like they would keep the contacts safer. Opening the foil packets is also a little messier as the contact lens solution tends to squirt out of the packet and soak everywhere! Which is kind of amusing at the same time (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Giselle - SW4 - Shade Blue
Replacement Period - 1 Year
Base Curve - 8.6mm
Diameter - 15mm
Water Content - 38%
Power - 0.00

I think these lenses are absolutely gorgeous, although my eyes are hazel they are still noticeable. The lenses are a mix of two tone blue and green which give a strange dimensional effect to the eyes, personally I think they will be far better on grey and blue eyes but I am still very shocked and how well they show up on mine. The are very comfortable for 15mm lenses and have a lovely natural effect which I like for every day use. Overall they are a big 10/10 for me and a wonderfully unexpected gift from a dear friend

Naty Swan - Shade Pink
Replacement Period - 1 Year
Base Curve - 8.6mm
Diameter - 15mm
Water Content - 38%
Power - 0.00

I LOVE THESE! Oh wow, they are beautiful. I don't think these photos can do these lenses any justice. They have a thick black band around the lens which I love, this gives me an amazing dolly look. They are very comfortable and have a lovely colour pay off, they are incredibly noticeable in the sun light. I think these will be fantastic on any colour of eyes, for darker eyes they look porcelain dolly-like and for paler eyes they will probably look a little more vampy. Overall they are wonderful lenses, excellent quality I will definitely be buying these in other colours, 10/10.

Yesstyle Haul & Review #3 - The Denim Skort!

Konnichiwa Minna-san! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ I am back with a new tiny haul and review for Yesstyle.co.uk!

Today I will be reviewing a denim skort which I bought from a brand within Yesstyle, called DABAGIRL, which is a South Korean brand. I have seen their clothing many times throughout my buying history with Yesstyle, but i've never actually purchased anything since they are a little on the expensive side.

However, I put that a side so that I could get the skort of my dreams!! I have been after a denim skort for a few months because I think it'll be amazing for summer (▰˘◡˘▰)... A skort is basically a skirt with shorts attached, and is perfect for girls who aren't very confident in wearing skirts on their own.

As I imagined, it is completely amazing, and everything I wanted. It looks like a super short mini skirt but you have the added safety of the shorts underneath (in case of any strong breezes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
The fabric is well made and is very soft denim, with a slight stretch to it. I got the size Small, and I am usually a size 6, but this fits me perfectly despite having a slightly larger bum that most girls my size! I would definitely recommend checking the measurements first, otherwise you could have a disaster.
