Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - Inspired by the movie: Alice Through The Looking Glass ♥

Hello minna! ♥ I've been absent for a while due to other commitments and now I have a surprise for all of you. The new Alice in Wonderland palette has just been released by Urban Decay on the 5th of May and I had to run and get my pre-order! I hope you all enjoy this review

First of all the packaging is typical UD, bold and amazing. The usefulness of the packaging is still zero as the majority is just for aesthetic effect, but I still love it regardless.

The palette has 20 eyeshadows that vary in texture, pigmentation and colour. However I would say that this palette has a lot of neutrals so if you prefer this then this one is definitely for you, especially if you are trying to experiment with bolder shades. The shadowbox also comes with a double-ended eyeshadow brush, one side is a normal flat brush and they other is a tapered crease brush. I've always admired UD for giving such good brushes in their palettes compared to other brands.

I adore this palette, it is probably my favourite one from UD for a couple of years (yes i've been a little sick of the constant NAKED palettes). Some colours are more pigmented than others, especially the third row. However other shades are less opaque such as the mattes, I think if they are built upon or used in a specific way they will be perfectly fine to work with ♥

My favourite shades of this palette are Metamorphosis and Dormouse! Metamorphosis is just an amazing dusty pale blue which is quite unique and Dormouse is such a lovely warm brown with gold glitter.

Thank you very much for reading my review and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Makeup Revolution Salvation Lip Lacquer Review!

Hey guys! I know that it's been a while but i've been busy with work and photo shoots for my newest cosplay. So today i'm back with a review of Makeup Revolution's Lip Lacquers, which I have been obsessed with for the past few weeks.

Out of the 11 shades I bought the 6 that I loved the most!

Keep Trying For You

This is a bold traditional blue toned red, which actually reminds me of a Christmas type red. This is one of the most opaque from the collection, however it does stain your lips and will take a heavy duty make-up remover to get it off.

Keep Flying For You

This is the most bold tangerine colour in existence! It's personally my least favourite from the collection since it is such a neon shade and it has a patchy colour pay off as well. I think this may suit certain skin tones more than others, due to my extremely pale skin it made me look a little washed out.

I Fall In Love

This is the ultimate Barbie pink colour, The texture of this shade is very similar to the orange one. in the sense that it is quite patchy unless it is applied very precisely, however this one is also the longest staying so the pros and cons balance each other out.

Keep Crying For You

This is a bright rose pink with a kind of purple undertone to it, and out of the colours I have this is probably the most easy to wear since it is very muted. The colour is similar to Suedeberry from Lime Crime but I feel like the application is easier with this product.

Depravity

My favourite shade of the entire collection, this is literally the most beautiful true lilac lipstick that i've ever bought. I'm not entirely sure how, but I find this to be really wearable outside and not just for photoshoots as I feel like it goes with my pale complexion really well. This was the first shade I bought and it's perfection and can stay for up to 5 hours (That's how long I kept it on) without budging.

Black Heart

For me this is an exact dupe of Lime Crime's Black Velvet, everything about it is practically the same. The colour, the consistency, the pay off and the texture after drying are very similar to Black Velvet but for a fraction of the price. If you're into black lipsticks then this would be your holy grail product.

All of these lipsticks were from Superdrug and usually Makeup Revolution is only sold in the larger stores.

Makeup Revolution Salvation Lip Lacquer - £3

Thank you very much for reading my transformation and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette Review! ♥

Konnichiwa Minna! ♥ Today I have an Urban Decay review and it's for the Vice 4 palette. This palette came out a couple of months ago and I just received it as a surprise Christmas present from my wonderful fiance, so i've decided to do a quite in depth review of it since this is my new current make-up obsession!

The packaging is absolutely stunning, I love the holographic edgy design of the palette and also how it's completely practical. As most people know Urban Decay isn't the best at making packaging that's easy to travel with or store, so this is perfect as it comes with a travel pouch and is made from sturdy plastic.

The mirror is freaking huge... This is always a plus for me, and it can stay up on it's own without flopping back like many other palettes. It also has a clipped closure, so there's a very small chance that the palette will randomly open in your bag or suitcase!

There are exactly 20 eye shadows that are mattes, shimmers, duo chromes and glitters. For me this is probably the most balanced Urban Decay palette i've seen in a long time, it's not very often you get a nice selection of matte shades from UD so this was a lovely surprise.

Top to Bottom: Bones, Grip, Deadbeat, Beatdown & Pandemonium

The first line of shades are pretty dark and they are all super shimmery. Deadbeat was the only slight disappointment in this line as the glitter doesn't really show up as well as it does in the pan and the texture is a little chalky. Other than that one shade, all of the others are stunning!

Top to Bottom: Framed, Fastball, 1985, Underhand & Harlot

My favourite line of shades ever... All of these red/pinks are fantastic, the texture on all of them is butter smooth and the colour pay off is brilliant, I would've probably bought this palette just for these shades in all honesty.

Top to Bottom: Discreet, Grasshopper, C-Note, Arctic & Robbery

Ahhh the pretty greens. Just like the red/pinks, all of these are very buttery and easy to apply. However the last shade (Robbery) is a little on the chalky side much like Deadbeat from the first row. Chalky textures aside, the pigmentation is actually really amazing on all of these shades including Robbery.

Top to Bottom: Bitter, Flame, Low, Crowbar & Delete

These colours look so much better on the skin than they do in the palette, it's not too often I say that as well. My favourite here is definitely Flame, it's an insane orange/gold/red holographic shade that looks incredible when you're in natural light. The two mattes here are very well pigmented at apply smoothly which was surprising.

Overall I would completely recommend this palette, it's fun with enough neutral shades to use everyday. It's such a well balanced palette at for £43 I think it's completely worth the money!

UNIQSO HAUL - GEO MEDICAL/SWEETY/DOLLY EYE ♥

Konnichiwa Minna-san! Today I have a long awaited haul from UNIQSO. I've had these four lenses in my wishlist for about 4 months now, so the second I heard Uniqso was doing a Black Friday sale of 50% off, I literally jumped at the chance and bought them

Dolly Eye Ace Black

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 1 Tone
Diameter: 14.5mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 38%

I absolutely adore these ♥ I've always wanted to have black lenses that we not totally creepy, so these were my first choice since I can still see a little of my eye colour . They're very comfortable and a lot smaller in diameter compared to my other 16.2mm lenses, I think these could be worn easily for 8 hours without much hassle.

GEO Medical Cafe Mimi Macchiato

Base Curve: 8.8mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 14.8mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 38%

I've previously bought from GEO Medical and they never disappoint, this is now my second pair from the brand and they are beautiful. These ones are a lot more natural than the GEO Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown lenses that I have, mostly because they have a more subtle black outline around the outside of the lenses. They're really comfortable like all of the GEO lenses so I would definitely recommend these for people who have more sensitive eyes.

Sweety Crazy Star

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 14.0mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 40%

These... Are... Amazing... I am so pleased with these and now I think they're my favourite pair. These lenses aren't the most comfortable, i'm not entirely sure but I think they are thicker than any of my other lenses but still bearable to wear for a few hours. The lenses have blue stars in the center with a brown outer rim, and it gives your eyes a truly unusual look. though I think these would be best appreciated in photo shoots.

Kimchi Viva Violet

Base Curve: 8.6mm
Tones: 2 Tone
Diameter: 16.0mm
Replacement Period: 1 Year
Water Content: 55%

I've always wanted a pair of Kimchi lenses since they have a large diameter, the issue was picking the colour since they have so many ♥ Despite being very large, these lenses are actually as  comfortable as GEO medical lenses, the colour is also very vivid and fades nicely into my own eye colour. I would definitely buy more from this brand again, I just love how you can barely feel them in your eyes.

Dolly Ace Black - £11.15
Geo Medical Cafe Mimi Macchiato - £14.88
Sweety Crazy Star - £11.07
Kimchi Viva Violet - £14.26

Thank you very much for reading my review and I hope you stick around for more in the future

Cosplay Post: Hermione Granger Transformation!

Konnichiwa Minna ♥ I've been away for a while due to an illness, so I thought I would come back with a magical bang!  This is my transformation into Hermione Granger, I wanted to try a really simple cosplay and so Halloween was the perfect opportunity.

Firstly I styled my own hair, since it's basically the same general colour/style of Hermione's I thought I would just keep it natural instead of using a wig.

Now onto the face make up, I used a moisturizer first to make my skin a lot more hydrated and then proceeded with my new Illamasqua Satin Face Primer. I then used my Lancome concealer for my under eyes, and any other red spots or imperfections on my face.

Next is my bb cream, since I have discovered Korean bb creams no Western foundation/bb cream can top them. So I used my Skin79 Diamond Prestige BB Cream all over my face, and then blended it in with a beauty blender. At this point I would say to add a powder if you have oily/combination skin, but since my skin is super dry I usually miss that part out.

To finish the look I added my Estee Lauder blush and used a really shimmer white/beige from my Naked Basics Palette as a highlight to all the high points on my face.

For the eyes I started with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as the base and added a light beige shadow all over the lid, over this shadow I added a champagne shimmery colour to make my eyes seem brighter. For the crease I added a soft chocolate brown to give my eyes more dimension and I the added my brown liquid liner and lengthening mascara. I think it makes everything look more natural if you stick to brown tones for your liquid liner.

After adding mascara I picked up the same white/beige for my highlight and I added it to my inner corners. I then finished my eye look by adding my circle lenses from GEO Medical, I already have hazel eyes but I really wanted a doe-eyed look for Hermione, since her eyes are so bright and bold.

The costume was super simple and inexpensive, The robe and tie were bought from eBay, the shirt is from my Haruka Nanami cosplay, the skirt is from Yesstyle, the shoes and socks are from Primark. Without including all of the parts that I already had (make-up, shoes, socks, shirt etc), the costume as a whole was £17.

Face

Primark Moisturizer- £1.00
Illamasqua Satin Face Primer - £26.00
Lancome Effracernes Concealer - £22.00
Skin79 Diamond Prestige BB Cream - £15.00
Estee Lauder Pink Tease Blush - £24.00

Eyes

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - £16.00
Naked Basics Palette - £22.00
Urban Decay Fun Palette (Champagne shadow) - £22.00
Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner (Brown) - £8.00
Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara - £4.00
GEO Medical Cafe Mimi Circle Lenses - £14.00

Costume

Gryffindor Robe - £14.00
Gryffindor Tie - £3.00

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner - Brown, Review! ♥

Konnichiwa Minna-san! I've got an amazing product to review today, the Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner. I got this from EBay but it was originally imported from Japan, i've heard so many good things about this eyeliner so I really wanted to try it out and review it for you guys!

The packaging for this is super cute! It's also far easier to open than a lot of Western make-up, no need for scissors. The eyeliner itself is a felt tip liner with an extremely narrow tip, for me i'm personally not a fan of felt tip liners but this one works perfectly to create a sharp line.

I love this brown shade! It's the exact shade that all brown eyeliners should be, not the weird brown/black combination that they usually are... The formula for this liner is really watery which some people may hate, especially if you prefer gel liners. However I find it really easy to work with and extremely pigmented for a low cost product.

I wore this eyeliner for 12-14 hours a few days ago, this includes going to work and going out later that night. The result was that the liner barely budged throughout the day and definitely didn't smudge.

Overall i'm thoroughly impressed with this, the quality plus the price make for a fantastic product within budget. Even though Dolly Wink is a Japanese brand it can be found easily on EBay and Yesstyle, I would try to aim for EBay though since the postage would be cheaper.

Glasgow MCM Comicon 2015 Haul! ♥

Konnichiwa Minna-san!~ Today I have my Comicon Haul for you. Last week was the annual Glasgow MCM Comicon and aside from cosplaying and taking hundreds of pictures for Otakuography, I was looking at all the stalls to see what cute products I could buy

This is the overall picture of my haul! It's definitely not as big as the previous two years, but I was so busy with taking photographs that buying things only happened when something really caught my eye.

My favourite item from Comicon is definitely my little Oshawott ♥ He's so adorable! My fiance bought him for me when I was getting some air and I was so happy and shocked! Look at his wee face ♥ This was an officially licensed Pokemon product and I believe he was £15, but i'm unsure of which stall was selling him.

While we were walking around CEX who had a massive DVD/Game stand in the center of the hall, were handing out cute little CEX chocolates that taste identical to a Terry's Chocolate Orange. Not brilliant for me, but my fiance loved them!

My favourite purchase of the day is two new Uta no Prince-sama Biscuit Charms!♥ Omg they're the cutest little things in the world... I'm literally obsessed. I have Ranmaru, Masato and Ren all attached to my phone and they look so adorable, they're good quality and a completely licensed product from SAOTOME GAUKEN ♥ They were £4 each from the Japan Centre stall.

This is a super cool Panda Cone from Glico and it's the Giant Caplico Panda - Cookies & Cream flavour. The texture of this is weird and interesting, it's supposed to imitate a ice cream but with chocolate instead of the ice cream ♥. The chocolate is smooth and bubbly kind of like an Aero bar and for me it tastes like a crushed Oreo. This was from the Japan Centre and I think it was £1.50!

These are from the brand Kabaya and they are Pastel Chocolate Cone snacks from the Japan Centre. I'm not overly fond of these sweets, mostly due to the bad quality of chocolate. However most children will like these since the are fun with cure designs, the little pastel marble is a crunchy little biscuit which is quite a fun texture with the chocolate. These were £2.00 and to be honest i'll probably not buy them again, they are very plain and a little cheap tasting.

These two are basically the same product from the Japan Centre and i had no idea until I got home ♥! These are also by Kabaya. The first is a small packet of chocolate panda biscuits, the white kind of tastes like milk but i'm not 100% sure. The box of pandas are pretty different to the first packet to be honest, as they have a caramel flavouring to them. However I think they taste like a Yankee Candle or something! They're not terrible just a little fragrant ♥ The small packet was 50p and the box was £1.00 from the Japan Centre!

NOM NOM NOM! ♥ I have bought these at every convention for three years, I absolutely love Match Pocky! They taste slightly herbal because of the matcha but mostly they just taste rich and creamy, amazingly addictive. These were bought from the Japan Centre for £2.00

This is the cutest little wafer/biscuit panda i've every seen! ♥ It tastes like a Blue Riband to me (British biscuit) but the description on the Japan Centre website says it is a milk & white chocolate flavoured wafer. Either way I think it tastes fantastic and I think it was 50p from the Japan Centre stall on the last day of the convention!

This was the weirdest tasting thing of the day... WOW what a flavour! I've bought this Sangaria soft drink before but in the Melon Soda flavour, this is Grape and oh my god does it taste amazing. I would definitely not recommend you to drink it daily (so much sugar) but it needs to be tried at least once. The flavour is traditional artificial grape but the drink almost has a sherbet flavour/texture, it's so tangy and amazing. Highly recommended! This was again bought from the Japan Centre for £2.00.
