Holika Holika - Makgeolli Brightening Mask Sheet Review

Konnichiwa Minna-san! Today I have a Korean Skin Care product reviewed for you and it is a skin brightening mask.

Korea is very well known for their skin care products and their skin brightening products which promote a healthier glow, I have tried many of these masks over the past few years but I've never thought in depth about how they made my skin look and feel. The mask i'm reviewing today is from the brand Holika Holika and it is the Makgeolli Brightening Mask Sheet!

The packaging itself is very thick soft plastic which won't easily tear if you are traveling, the packet can also be folded up as there is not a lotion inside which could burst. The inside is foil lined to keep the mask fresh.

How to use:

1. Cleanse your face thoroughly and use a toner.
2. Apply the face mask and wait 15-20 minutes
3. Remove mask and rub the extra product into your face and neck and wait for it to dry.
4. If you have very dry skin then possibly add a heavy moisturizer on top.

I LOOK TERRIFYING... It's the perfect mask for scaring your family & friends if you can't sit still for 20 minutes. The mask itself is absolutely freezing when you first put it on! It is definitely a shock to your system and will wake you up. It feels like thick tissue paper that has been soaked in a gel-like serum, which is actually after a while a very relaxing feeling and you can feel like it is doing some good to your skin.

Overall - 8/10: I would use this again but not for its brightening qualities as i'm not sure I can see much difference in skin's glow. However it makes your face completely baby smooth, and that is good enough for me in all honesty. It might not be what it says on the packet but I enjoyed it and the experience is very relaxing and pampering.

You can find 5 masks on Amazon for around £17, which is a little pricey but the store I originally bought mine from is not selling them anymore.

Ulzzang Lip Make-Up Look (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

Hello Minna-san!
Ulzzang is a term in Korean for "Best Face" or something to that description, it basically highlights those of above average appearance. People with this style/look usually use the same make-up looks, almost to the point that the term Ulzzang has became a make-up look in it's self.

Today I have chosen to do the Ulzzang lip look for all of you as it's fun, easy and practically anyone will have the products for it!

The bases of an Ulzzang lip look is to have a stained inner lip which will fade out to a pale outer lip. For me I have chosen a fuchsia pink as my stain and a lip balm as my pale outer colour,
The key is to be gentle and gradually add the stain on the inner portion of your lips, this will give them an almost bitten look which is what you're going for.

Afterwards you add a pale lip colour which compliments your stain, in my case it was a pearl shine lip balm from Nivea.

Around the edges of your lips you can add a very light concealer to draw attention to the cupids bow at the top of your lips, or even a liquid highlighter.

And that completes my Ulzzang Lip Look (0♥‿♥0) and I hope you all enjoyed it! xxx

Blue Pastel Dolly/Lolita Eyed Make-Up Look

Konbanwan Minna-san!

Today I have a make-up look for you inspired by Lolita and Dolly style make-up and clothing. This look is simple, quick and colourful making it the ideal spring dolly look.

I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and then applied a nude eye shadow colour, the same shade as my eyelid all the way up to the eye crease. After this I applied a pastel blue eye shadow colour on the outer corners and blended this with the nude colour to blur out the edges and make the who look smooth.

After this I applied a white colour above the blue as a form of highlight due to how pale I am, and then proceeded with eyeliner. I used my Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner in Perversion as it is the blackest eyeliner that I've ever used. I then applied mascara and false lashes from Eyelure. For my water line I applied Make-Up Revolution's Eye Brightener mixed with white eyeliner from MUA.

For my face I applied Skin79 VIP Gold BB Cream and Estee Lauder in Peach Passion. My highlight is from MUA and my lip colour is Lime Crime Velvetine - Suedeberry mixed with Hawaiian Tropic lip gloss - Island Berry.

I hope you all like this look I created and there will be many more in the future as well.

Make-Up Revolution @ Superdrug. Liquid Eyeliner & Inner Eye Brightening Liner Review.

Ohayou Minna-san! Today I have a double review for a new brand that has came out for Superdrug in the UK, and it is called Make-up Revolution!

My first purchase is the Eyeliner Flick Thick & Thin which I bought to replace my old black liquid liner. I was surprised by the quality of this eyeliner considering the amazing price... wow... The black is very opaque with just one stroke. However despite the positives it is definitely not a waterproof product and should be worn on a very dry day, due to this I believe it would be a tricky product for those with oily eyelids.

Rating: 7/10 - Good for the price, Not budge proof.
Price: £3.50

I have been looking for a cheap inner eyeliner for months as I refuse to pay tons for pencil eyeliners. This is a super cheap alternative to all of the expensive eye brighteners on the market. The colour really brightens the water line and unlike the liquid liner above, this doesn't budge at all. Depending on your skin tone this will be more effective or less effective, personally I have pretty pale skin, which can be seen in the photo above and it does wonders on my eyes

Rating: 10/10 - Amazing inexpensive product, Really does the job, Lasts all day.
Price: £2.50
